Purpose

  • To plan, monitor and coordinate of all Agriculture / milk procurement related activities for his operational area.
  • Role holder will be responsible for implementation, monitoring and improvement of Agri / milk procurement related systems in his area.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervision and monitoring of Agri / milk procurement & Institutional building related activities for about 100-120 villages through field team.
  • To assist procurement head in planning of new MPP, through Identification of potential villages & competitors information.
  • To supervise & monitor facilitators for village meetings, Identification of MPP location and selection of Sahayak for MPP operation.
  • To supervise & monitor facilitators for identification of BMC location and its installation in the area.
  • To assist Procurement head to purchase Agri/milk procurement assets for MPP / BMC.
  • To assist procurement Head in preparation of SOP & Training module.
  • To implement SOP at Center / BMC and MPP.
  • Monitoring of Center / BMC operations and handling of members query (in case of escalation).
  • Monitoring of TS variance from MPP to Center/ BMC & BMC to Plant.
  • Monitor of transportation operations of Agri /milk from MPP to Center /BMC / Plant.
  • To achieve targeted Agri / milk procurement (quantity & quality).

  • To supervise & monitor facilitators for opening of bank account for direct payment in bank account.

Responsibilities:

  • In the assigned blocks, coordinate with various departments to promote and implement plantation drives.
  • Plan and organize meetings of volunteers to enhance their knowledge on increasing green cover in the assigned block.
  • S/he will also actively represent and contribute to advocacy and capacity building work to ensure increased visibility and improved outcomes of program.
  • Ensure and facilitate regular plant care and awareness campaigns at the ground across the implementation area.
  • Facilitate convergence and leverage with various programs and departments (Government & Private) in the assigned block by organizing regular meetings.
  • Identify best practices and document lessons learned and share learning with relevant stakeholders and area coordinator.
  • Undertake frequent field visit across the assigned block to gauge the progress of program, identify challenges, on site mentoring and support to program supervisor in effective implementation of the program.
  • Carry out any other additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Program Supervisor from time to time.
